Apple has brainwashed me…

…And I don’t even mind. At all.

(Note: The title and the above sentence is all I got down. Hours ago.)

Continued:

New iPod Nano: This would be my first iPod so I don’t have anything to compare it to. But my god, Apple you’ve come a long way now. This thing is so damn tiny. Pictures just aren’t good enough to determine how small and precise this thing is. Sure, it’s a bit wider than the other generations, but it’s so compact. You’ve got your screen, you’ve got your fancy scroll wheel thing, and that’s it. It sat safely in my pocket today, and more than a couple times I jumped and checked if it was still there.

Oh Apple, I love looking at this tiny little black iPod, turning it on and seeing so much jammed in there. Not just jammed, but beautifully jammed in. Screen is just gorgeous. Not to mention they changed around the menu a bit. The main menus only take up half the screen, graphics flowing across the other half. (If you’re set on music, it pans across an album. Photos, pans across photos, etc.) Lots of little things I’ve never noticed about iPods, things you wouldn’t notice until you start using it.

How did I once hate these machines? Learning to understand things before I bash them for no reason. (Well, reasons, but nothing justified.)

Overall, I love scrolling through photos, or music and seeing it all there, in this tiny package. I’ve seen the light of Apple, it is warm and filled with good design.

New Mac Keyboard: Hey hey, it does work on a Windows machine.

I’m not even aware of something been done to this degree in keyboards. It’s a piece of metal (cool to the touch, magnificent), with these elegant flat keys, mechanics somewhere in the middle of this thin sandwich, all on a plastic bottom. Plus, two USB outlets. Which are proving quite useful.

It’s hard to explain if you haven’t tried one of these out, and I suggest you do. It feels like typing on a laptop, except not quite so cramped. It sounds amazing, what used to be a horribly loud spacebar is probably the quietest of the set, keystrokes sound like pindrops. Last night this room had all of us in it. Four of madly typing away at our computers, and you could hardly hear a sound from me. Not to mention that it’s just nice to type on! The keys are soft and the sound pulls you in. If the simple pleasures of it continue to amaze me, I might just have to write a book. *type type type type*

This thing is sleek, and sexy, and amazing. Everything it needs to be, nothing else. Looks great on my desk, and gives me so much more desk space than I ever thought I would have. (Also, my cats think it is a bed. Though, I won’t be finding any fur in this keyboard, unlike the last.)

Thanks~

Rather blurry, sorry. New keyboard + iPod. Also, check the inscription. :)

Note: I don’t usually have that black mouse connected. I was having a hard time figuring out USB connections.

Second Note: My desk is rather silly. I know! Leave me alone.

One last thing:

I have a website! Kind of didn’t mention it to anybody to let it breathe a little. I’m still miserably failing in the cleaning up process. (This template is kind of gross.) But welcome! Sorry I kept it from you! (What little it is….) (Basically: Hi Rob!)
